My style of documentary wedding photography, ensures the natural atmosphere, emotion and moments shine through in every one of your images. She joins a milestone day and manages to capture all of the moments that might be lost by a less caring eye.Her sense of composition, colour, aesthetic, social dynamic and emotional truth are evident in everyone she shoots. One of the magical aspects of the images she caught at our wedding was the extreme diversity of ages. The smallest children and the most senior elders were proudly themselves. A wedding seems to be all about dressing up and looking your best. But beneath the surface strong family relationships, friendship and time tested loyalties are all on display too. If Sheridan does anything well it is striking the balance between capturing the beauty, glamour and happiness of the wedding party and also (discreetly) the more complex emotions and touching private moments. When our wedding photos came back I saw many beautiful secrets revealed: my son’s pride, my daughter’s composure, a lovely glance captured between me and my Dad, the priceless expression on my brother’s face when he gave his speech, my mother’s (unguarded) elation and a look in my husband’s eye that he always hides from the camera. On top of all this she made one very tired, not so young bride look like a movie star. If you need to enjoy yourself and not worry about how it’s going to look on camera then Sheridan is the go to girl. Anna and Robbie eloped and were married with their best friends as witnesses in the historic town of Evandale in Tasmania.

Sarah and Micael chose to have a simple ceremony at the George in Launceston with immediate family present to witness their vows to each other.
