The Pottery Shed, Pottery Classes Surry Hills | Lifestyle Photography

The art of pottery is like writing poetry, it is the same kind of creativity, poets write in words and a potter makes the shapes in clay. It is all about transformation, at the wheel thoughts are being transformed into pots.

Esther last night resumed pottery classes at The Pottery Shed in Surry Hills. Joe Darling runs classes out of a fantastic creative warehouse in Surry Hills. There are classes that are designed for beginners but also the space accommodates accomplished potters practicing their craft working on their own. If your interested in learning a new skill or picking up an old interest in the ancient craft of pottery you can find out more here www.thepotteryshed.com.au

Indianna Gregg Actress | Headshots

At the age of 13 this gorgeous rising star has already had a leading role in a short film "The Ravens" and a season at the Belvoir Theatre in "Nora" she also has an extensive resume in musical theatre, commercials and TV  work. Magnetically beautiful and extremely talented, it was a pleasure to be able to work with her to produce a series of headshots for her 2017 publicity portfolio.

Mark Innes, Farrier | Centennial Park Equestrian Centre

I met Mark the farrier briefly at Centennial Park Equestrian Centre the other week and took a few photos of mark shoeing a horse. Mark was generous enough to allow me to come back a week later to shoot him again working. Mark showed me how horseshoes were traditionally made from a single bar of metal and shaped rather than what is common practice now to use pre made shoes. I have really enjoyed the time I have spent at Centennial Park Equestrian Centre over the past few weeks. I've met some really interesting people and had a insight into their work or their hobby but more than anything their  passion for horses. If anyone in interested in portrait photo session with their horse or a lifestyle session please get in touch I would love to talk to you.

Suzi and Rob | 60th Birthday & Surprise Wedding, Park Hyatt, The Rocks. Sydney

Rob decided that the perfect way to celebrate his 60th birthday was to marry his vivacious and beautiful girlfriend Suzi. Being second marriages for both of them they didn't want a fuss just their closest friends brought together with good food and wine. To avoid all the hoopla they decide that it should remain a surprise for their guests so when Suzi and Rob greeted everyone champagne in hand at the Park Hyatt the room was dressed for a 60th birthday . After everyone had arrived they quietly slipped out of the room to get changed and the celebrant Melissa announced that Rob and Suzi were also going to tie the knot. An emotional Suzi walked down the aisle and on a sunny Sydney afternoon with the Opera House behind them they publicly declared their undying love to each other. The Champagne Dame sabred the end off a magnum of Moet and a cascade of french filled the champagne tower and with glasses in hand the guests toasted the couple.
