Rob decided that the perfect way to celebrate his 60th birthday was to marry his vivacious and beautiful girlfriend Suzi. Being second marriages for both of them they didn't want a fuss just their closest friends brought together with good food and wine. To avoid all the hoopla they decide that it should remain a surprise for their guests so when Suzi and Rob greeted everyone champagne in hand at the Park Hyatt the room was dressed for a 60th birthday . After everyone had arrived they quietly slipped out of the room to get changed and the celebrant Melissa announced that Rob and Suzi were also going to tie the knot. An emotional Suzi walked down the aisle and on a sunny Sydney afternoon with the Opera House behind them they publicly declared their undying love to each other. The Champagne Dame sabred the end off a magnum of Moet and a cascade of french filled the champagne tower and with glasses in hand the guests toasted the couple.
Andrea and Neerav were married on a clear crisp Autumn day with a traditional Hindu wedding. Surrounded by family and friends they honoured the ancient traditions of the Vedic wedding ceremony . The colourful ceremony consisting of many small ceremonies and rituals that set the bride and groom on the path to marital, financial and life-long success was my first traditional Hindu ceremony to photograph and it didn't disapoint .

The weather on the day was perfect with a golden twilight for the bridal shoot amongst the autumnal foliage of the Auburn Botanical Gardens. Thanks to the Bhatt family for being so incredibly welcoming, and also a big thank you to my second shooter Trudy for her beautiful work on the day. Neerav and Andrea I wish you both a long and happy marriage it was an honour to be invited to be part of your wedding day.
Vanessa and Udy met in year 10 at high school and after 16 years of being together they decided to get married. After such a long time as a couple they felt no need to wait and set about planning a wedding based around the availability of a couple of their favourite venues. The picturesque Audley Dance Hall had a vacancy on Saturday the 16th so the date was set but it meant that they had only 12 weeks to pull together the wedding. In record time they had invitations printed, the florist booked and a dress underway.
It was a truly beautiful day in the Royal National Park with family and friends gathering under a canopy of Eucalyptus trees to watch Vanessa and Udy take their vows. Vanessa looked radiant as she was escorted down the isle by her mother and Udy's mother dressed in her wedding Sari sang a traditional Hindu wedding song. Congratulations Ness and Udy for organising a knockout wedding on a tight deadline it was such a great day! Wishing you both a lifetime of love together. Sx
